on the roller at 3am in the morning

February 18, Monday. It’s been awhile since my last post. Dami ng email requesting for new posts hehehe. Medyo natengga. Sobrang busy pa rin tulad ng dati. I have so many stories I want to tell pero hindi ko maisulat ng maayos. I hope I can finish this one. hehehe

After the world cup, the team packed the bikes. Sir Hiso and I checked out of the hotel while Steve and Mark (Steve’s mechanic) stayed because their flight back to San Francisco was on the next day. Sir Hiso paid for the extra night of the team before the race. He also brought me to Wild Card Gym of Coach Freddy Roach where Champ Manny Pacquiao trains but it was closed kaya picture na lang. We then went to Universal Studios. Wow!

-17 degrees Celsius

January 25, Friday. Nahiram ko na naman laptop ni sir, samantalahin ko na to check emails and update my blog. Kanina ginising ako ni Sir Hiso to have breakfast so we can leave early. Then sir and I left. Di nakasama si mam kasi me appointment sa parlor hehehe. Papaganda. There were few people outside kasi nga super lamig. 1 degree Fahrenheit, -17 degrees Celsius. I’m freezing to the bones hehehe. We went to check addidas then nike, pero mas magaganda ung sa adidas, kaya nauwi kami sa adidas. Then we went to the other section to buy some transformers. (more…)

World Cup Update 4: Pictures

Filed under: Friends Around The Globe, Races, Trips — Victor January 20, 2008 @ 5:18 pm

Almost 1am. Just getting ready to sleep. I am using Sir Hiso’s laptop. I left mine back home. I can’t put it in the bike box with my clothes kaya I decided to leave it. 2 box lang pala ang allowed ng PAL at isang hand carry. Dahil 2 na ang box ko containing my road and track bike, I have to pay for my luggage. To avoid paying $200 fine for my maleta. I put all my clothes in the bike box. hehehehe. Buti na lang I have large rolls of packaging tape. Improvise! I got here with only 2 bike boxes and a back pack. hehehe. I’ll try to borrow usb cable so I can upload the pictures.

Better Under Than Over: The Conclusion

Filed under: Friends Around The Globe, Point of View, Races, Training — Victor September 24, 2007 @ 3:41 am

I will start this post with a disclaimer : Tao lang po ako at hindi ko kayang manalo sa lahat ng karerang sinasalihan ko. Ang series ng posts about training ay based sa mga experiences ko, pagbabasa, at mga natutunan ko mula sa mga dating foreign coaches and teammates. These are my personal ways and may be different or not applicable to others.
