3rd Leg of the UCI Track World Cup: The Tale of my US Visa

waiting nunmber

January 16, Wednesday. I will be leaving for LA tonight. All expenses paid by my long time benefactor, Mr. Rolando Hiso. It is a relief that I can finally confirm it. I was restraining myself to answer emails and questions about my participation in the world cup because I was not sure if I can make it on time. Unnecessary delays, I dont know if it’s deliberate or purely coincidence, undelivered emails, super duper ultra electro magnetic decaying entry. Todo todo na late na entry kaya late lahat, invitation at appointments. Pati na rin ang post ko. hehehe.  I already gave up and even told the organizers that I can not bear the red tape anymore, este make it on time pala hehehe.

For last 2 weeks before the World Cup, I was driving around Metro Manila from morning till night like Curacha, ang lalaking walang pahinga. Siguro first na akong maentry nun hehehe. I was accommodated for interview last Friday, January 11. And I made it!!!! hehehe… Sa mga nagdududa dyan, Yes! The tsismis is true. I can speak in English! Nagpapractice kami ng anak ko. When the consul asked me, “Are you coming back?” I answered her ” Yes, of course, definitely.”

Pero dahil Friday ako nainterview, I have to wait for 4 days, including Saturday and Sunday, for the delivery of my passport. Kahit kumalat na ang balita na I passed the interview, I still can’t say when I’ll be leaving. Made of durable heavy weight steel frame exquisitely hand crafted by Ave using by then state of the art mano-mano engineering. hehehehe.
